July’s foreclosure filings drop slightly; more loan remodifications could be helping (WINK TV Southwest Florida)

New numbers just out Friday evening show foreclosure filings are showing a slight drop-off from this same month last year. Lee County saw 1,905 new foreclosure filings for the month of July. That’s down about 400 from July of 2008.
